My role
I’m a policy advisor at climate think tank E3G, where I work on reducing energy bills and shaping UK energy strategy. My work involves a mix of policy research, engaging with a wide range of groups and organisations, as well as political engagement and advocacy.
Outside of my work for E3G, I am also Fuel Poverty Director at Croydon Community Energy.
My passions
I’m passionate about delivering meaningful, impactful changes which improve society for the better. Whether that is cutting fuel poverty, tackling climate change, or strengthening workers’ rights. I enjoy combining robust evidence-based policy development with compelling political narratives, and believe now more than ever there is still a role for evidence in policy-making.
My career journey
I originally trained as an engineer and worked for a series of small businesses. However, most of my career has been in government policy - spending 6 years in the UK civil service before joining climate think tank E3G in 2024.
Looking ahead, I would like to continue building my influence to ensure action on climate change is both ambitious and socially just.
