My role
I’m a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Wolverhampton, where my work brings together research, education, and innovation. My current research focuses on creating a framework to evaluate flood resilience in socially diverse communities. This involves cross-sector collaboration with organisations such as the National Flood Forum, lead local flood authorities, water companies, highways, and climate consultancies, contributing to the UK’s broader resilience objectives. With experience teaching subjects such as systems analysis, data analysis, project management, and engineering design, I bring an academic perspective rooted in real-world application.
My passions
My passion goes beyond the classroom, I’m driven by the desire to influence policy, shape sustainable practices, and support others in doing the same. Over the past eight years, I’ve built a uniquely diverse career: from working as a Risk Consultant at Deloitte to roles in content strategy, data analysis, and now climate resilience. This journey has equipped me with a cross-disciplinary mindset, blending business, communication, and sustainability, which I now bring into my mentorship.
My goal as a mentor
As a mentor, I aim to support individuals who are curious about green skills and sustainability, whether they’re just starting out or looking to transition into the field. I believe in practical learning, purposeful collaboration, and helping others find their path to making real impact. If you're looking for guidance that bridges academic rigour, industry insight, and a commitment to climate resilience, I’d be glad to support your journey.
