My role
I am the founder of Harvestory, an organisation that brings food production into everyday spaces. As with many early-stage startups, my role is highly multifaceted. I oversee everything from growing and installing systems to marketing, sales, fundraising, harvesting, and preparing food for the communities we support.
My Passions
I’m passionate about people, creativity, and psychology. I approach problems with an open mind and focus on being in the energy of solutions and ideas. What drives me is the chance to grow, create impact, and keep learning in a fast-evolving environment. I see myself as an emerging voice for farmers and, more broadly, for business and leadership. I believe there is a wealth of knowledge within each of us, often forgotten, and the real challenge lies in finding ways to unlock it.
My career journey
After completing my economics undergraduate degree in Wales, I began my career in Sydney, spending four years in financial services; from multinational banks to a small, ten-person brokerage. On returning to the UK, I took on a range of sales roles in London and Bristol, including recruitment where I joined as the first employee of a startup. While valuable, these experiences left me unfulfilled, and I chose to pursue something closer to my heart by embarking on a master’s degree in agriculture. During this time, I conceptualised Harvestory, which began to take shape alongside my thesis on vertical farming as an environmental, social, and governance initiative.
